The 39-member Indian contingent is participating in TOYOTA Gazoo Racing Badminton Asia U17 & U15 Junior Championships 2022, Thailand from 29th November 2022. Indian promising youngster Unnati Hooda is showcasing brilliancy who won all her matches without losing a game and cruised into the semifinals of U17 Girl's Singles by beating South Korea's Min Ji Kim 21-15, 21-18. After losing the first game, Kim had a splendid lead of 14-09 in the second game in her effort to balance the match. Unnati equaled at 16-16 and won the match in straight.
Including Unnati, India's 3 singles players and 2 doubles pairs ensured minimum Bronze medals and sailed into the semifinals.

In Boy’s Singles U15, 5th seeded Indonesian Glend Yosua Octavianus faught and surrendered to Anish Danei in the decider 20 22, 21 19, 12 21. In the other similar combat of MS-U15 Quarter final 4th seeded Indonesian Radithya Bayu was beaten by Tankara Gnana Dattu by 11 21, 21 13,11 21. Anish and Tankara entered semifinals and enusre medals for India.
In Boys Doubles, two pairs has entered semi finals. Taipei's Sheng-Ming LIN & Chia-Yu TSAI lost to Bjorn JAISON & Aathish SREENIVAS P V in the Boy’s U15 Quarter Finals deciding, 21 16 12 21 17 21. In Boy’s U17 Doubles Quarter final 6th seeded Arsh MOHAMMAD & Sanskar SARASWAT won the Indonesian pair Nawaf KHOIRIYANSYAH & Adriel Ferdinand LEONARDO in a deciding 24 22, 20 22, 21 15.
