TN' Sathish, Hariharan & Ruban Register their Maiden International Challenge titles

Tamil Nadu's Sathish Kumar Karunakaran, World No. 87 won his maiden International Challenge Men's Singles title from the Infosys International Challenge 2023, Bengaluru on 29th October 2023. His performances in the last two months including the Bronze of Malaysian International Series 2023 on 08th October 2023, helped to climb up 12 ranks during the last week, and he will reach his career-best position next week. He has beaten his Indian counterpart World No.188 R Ravi in straights 21 14 21 16 to win his maiden International Challenge title. Earlier, he managed the World No. 143 and 10th-seeded Chirag Sen for 12 21, 21 18, 21 19 in the Semifinals.


Sathish anchors his position in India's top 10 Men's Singles players and is expected to be in his career-best as World Rank of 70 or above in the coming week.



World No.105 India's Hariharan & Ruban Kumar win their maiden international and challenge title by beating their counterpart 21 13, 21 14 in the finals, they are expected to establish as India's Top 5 Men's duo and will strengthen the bench of Indian Doubles contingency.

Meanwhile, non-seeded 9th-seeded and World No. 220, India's Isharani Baruah is the surprise pack and bagged the women's singles titles against 9th seeded Unnati Hooda in 13 21 , 21 19, 21 11. She has upset the No.1 Seeded Ashmita Chaliha in the Quarters, and most of all her matches were deciding battles.
