By offering a 100% tuition fee waiver to distinguished athletes, institutions will gain direct advantages such as improved NIRF rankings and higher NAAC grades and enhance their reputation, attract quality students and faculty, increase access to funding, and provide greater international recognition.
In addition to the lucrative visibility and institutional profile with eminent sports performances, it is the opportunity for the institutions to score and compete with their peer institutions to score better accreditation points from NAAC accreditation. It is mandatory for universities and institutions to NAAC accredited. An institution benefits significantly from attaining a higher NAAC grade, including enhanced reputation, increased student and faculty attraction, improved access to funding, and greater international recognition, all of which contribute to institutional growth and quality improvement.
The NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) is crucial as it offers a clear and unbiased evaluation of higher education institutions in India. This aids students, parents, and policymakers in making well-informed educational choices and motivates institutions to pursue ongoing enhancement.
