Satwiksairaj is from Amalapuram in the state of Andhra Pradesh, started playing badminton at the age of 6, and had participated in various district level and national level badminton championships before entering his teenage.
"Everyone likes singles and wants to play singles. I thought India needs doubles players, so I decided to go for doubles", Satwik.
