BAI has circulated the selection guidelines for junior Indian team for Dutch Junior International & German Junior International 2023.

With reference to the Selection Guidelines set by the BAI Selection Committee (Jr.) for the selection of Indian Junior team for the Dutch Junior International 2023 to be held at Haarlem, the Netherlands from 1-5 March 2023 and German Junior 2023 to be held at Berlin, Germany from 8-12 March 2023, selection trials will be conducted by the BAI for the players on the basis of their BWF Junior Ranking points, BAI national under 19 ranking points or based the performance at the Junior National Ranking Tournaments to be held at Chandigarh from 3-9 January 2023, and Bahadurgarh from 10-16 January 2023.
The last medal of German Junior International for India came from Women's doubles in the year 2019 won by Treesa Jolly and Varshini Viswanathan.

In the previous edition of Dutch Junior International, Tasnim Mir and Mansi Singh clinched the historic bronze medals at Dutch Junior International 2020.

The players who will be eligible to take part in the selection trials after the conclusion of Chandigarh (3-9 January 2023) and Bahadurgarh (10-16 January 2023) tournaments, will be as follows.
1- All semifinalists (boys & girls) of the singles event from above-mentioned two tournaments for the singles event.
2- All finalists (boys & girls) of the pair events from above-mentioned two tournaments for the pair events.
3- Top-4 in singles ranking and Top-2 pairs in pair event ranking as per the BAI ranking points.
4- Indian players among the Top-20 in the BWF Junior Ranking. The dates and venue for the Selection Trials will be announced at a later stage.
By considering the above selection criteria, the selection trial will ensure the inclusion of players with international competency, experience, and the present form. Let us wait and see the Indian contingent who will join with medal club of Tasnim, Mansi, and Treesa & Varshini.
